US Bank and its local employees participated in United Way of North Idaho’s workplace giving campaign — and they gave in a big way.

The bank recently donated $88,942 to United Way.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have a partnership with US Bank,” said Mark Tucker, United Way’s executive director. “Not only does United Way of North Idaho benefit from the contribution, but many community nonprofits benefit through the Community Care Fund grants we are able to provide and through the hundreds of volunteer hours US Bank employees provide in our Day of Caring and throughout the year.”

US Bank employees make contributions to the UWNI Community Care Fund, operating expenses, or to other nonprofit organizations in the community. The US Bank corporate contribution is to help cover a portion of UWNI’s operating expenses, allowing for more of individual donors contributions to support programming.

“Partnering with United Way of North Idaho really makes sense to match our corporate culture of engaging with communities through contributions and involvement with nonprofit organizations,” said US Bank Vice President/District Manager Susan DuBois.
